I took a walk around Tianzifang the other day with the new Zeiss 21/2.8 I picked up. There were two old guys laying bricks, slowly taking their time to make sure everything was just right. I was kind of taken back, because it is actually quite rare and uncharacteristic of the Chinese working class to have this kind of patience and attention to detail while working on things like this.
On another note, I must say the Zeiss 21 is pretty awesome. The lack of distortion at this wide of a focal length is really something.
