Tropical Go-Karting

During our time in Phnom Penh, we decided to go go-karting on an outdoor course a few miles outside of the city. It was super fun but really hard on your back and arms. The go-karts went pretty fast, I’d say about 30mph, which feels like 50-60mph when you’re that close to the ground. Because the track was outdoors and the road was a rough asphalt, there wasn’t any drifting action, which means you could get into those turns a lot faster than the indoor karting places in Shanghai.

There weren’t many people there, so it was just the 4 of us on the track when we raced. Approximate standings are as follows:

1st Place: Yours Truly
2nd Place: Jing
3rd Place: Krystin
4th place: Jess

Although Jess lost, she managed to make me spin out in the dirt sending sand up my shorts and shirt into my face…good stuff.
