永康路 （Yong Kang Road)

I was on my way to find a tiny vintage camera shop that Jess had told me about. Somewhere deep inside one of the alleyways on this street is a tiny camera shop / cafe. The street itself is pretty neat. Its like you are watching the neighborhood slowly becoming gentrified one store front at a time. As you walk down the street, you notice small wine shops, a fish and chips bar, small cafes and french bakeries; all the while the area still feels very local with Shanghainese folks hanging out outside playing cards / chess and hanging laundry out to dry on the streets.
